Getting in Dancers Shape

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about my initial experience with my new workout, the Shape class at Dancers Shape. This week marks my mid-way point of my one-month commitment, and I have to say, I’m still really enjoying it! The Shape class is an intense workout, working all the muscle groups to include even the smallest muscles around the knees and ankles. And after just two weeks, my form has improved and the moves have gotten easier. I even got kudos from the instructor on how much stronger I looked. Most notably though, is that my muscles, especially in my legs and back, look more toned.

What I love most is how the class combines so many moves that are both graceful and intense, and if it wasn’t for the incredible burning you feel in your muscles, you’d swear you weren’t even working out. And if you’ve ever taken ballet or you recognize the beauty of it, you will enjoy the many ballet moves integrated into the workout.

With two weeks to go, I’m looking forward to seeing what a month of the Shape class can do for the body!
