The bobby pin has often been the hidden miracle that helps hairdos look amazing, especially the up do. What would a bride’s special day be without about 50 hidden bobby pins? But today the bobby pin is no longer hiding. Some of them are adorned with cute little shapes and rhinestones, but if you look you’ll notice that just the standard bobby pin is appearing everywhere.

Why this trend is celebrity-hot and happening now no one knows exactly, but it could be that everyone is going through that awkward stage between haircuts, or they’ve just given up. Actually, it’s probably because the up do is becoming very popular again, so is the braid, and both of these hairdos tend to work better with a bobby pin. Today there is no more hiding the bobby pin, just wear it proudly and announce that you’re super trendy and on top of the hottest new trend.

Jonah Hill

Moneyball actor and Oscar nominee Jonah Hill has lost a great amount of weight over the past year. Rumors were circulating that Brad Pitt was responsible for Hill’s weight loss and that Hill was inspired by Pitt’s healthy lifestyle. However, Hill has revealed his secret for losing weight: It isn’t exercise, it’s a Japanese diet. Hill told ABC News:

"It was just mostly diet. I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something, but it was, unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff."

Hill explains that a Japanese diet has been helpful and now eats lots of sushi. Hill’s motive for losing weight was to get more serious, dramatic acting roles. Hill said: “'I just had a moment in my life where I said I wanted to become a man.”
