Besides being perfect for all skin tones with a light gold shimmer and costing just $10, the Fairness Gloss was created by Peacekeeper Cause-Metics, the first cosmetics line to give all of its after-tax, distributable profits to women’s health advocacy and urgent human rights issues AND the source of my first chemical-free nail polish remover, to support the Paycheck Fairness Act.
PeaceKeeper Fair Wage Gloss

The Act, which failed to pass in the senate yesterday, would strengthen existing equal wage laws and eliminate the pay gap between men and women (women, on average, earn 33% less than men with the same level of education and in the same job). The Paycheck Fairness Act passed the House of Representatives in January 2009, but was rejected in a 58-41 vote in the Senate on Wednesday--just 2 votes shorts of the required 60.

Wherever you stand politically, it's admirable that a company like PeaceKeeper will create Cause-metics to support what they believe in--and that's us, women!
