As if we didn’t already love Jennifer Aniston, she will now take part in directing a short film about breast cancer for Project Five, a Lifetime five-part anthology series. She will share the role of director with Alicia Keys, Demi Moore, and Patty Jenkins (there will be a fifth director whom has yet to be announced).
Aniston said to US Weekly, “Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small.” With such powerful women heading this project, I have little to no doubt that it will have a powerful affect on its audience. Breast cancer takes the lives of too many women, and any effort to spread awareness deserves nothing but admiration.

I’m glad that she is broadening her horizons by taking on a new project like directing, and for such a good cause! She further commented, “We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are.”
She couldn’t be more right: Breast cancer does impact all of our lives, no matter who we are. I don’t know about you, but I will definitely be tuning in to this short film whenever it launches!
