The Today Show recently reported on men’s accessories and the growing trend for men to carry purses, which I guess we’re supposed to call a murse and somehow that makes it okay. I actually, think a manly purse is a good idea because frankly, how many women are just sick and tired of carrying around their male companion’s stuff. What I’m opposed to is the M in front of everything and then thinking it’s acceptable.

So now, not only do we have the murse, but we have mewelry or man jewelry, mandals which are apparently man sandals, meggings are man leggings and the mampered are man pampered.

This segment was so ridiculous and such a waste of morning time that everyone who was up to watch it probably wishes they weren’t. The one real highlight of the show was that the feature was reported by Jenna Bush Hager, which may mean this is her jump the shark moment (or is that a jump the mark) and hopefully we won’t be forced to watch anymore of this outrageously bad reporting.
