Do you suffer from cellulite, stretch marks, skin discoloration, spider veins or a combination of the four? Have you tried everything you come across to get rid of them? Fear not, you are not alone and there are ways to fix your skin woes that will actually work!

  • Cellulite- It’s caused by fat cells that gather beneath the skin’s surface. Don’t fret, having cellulite is perfectly normal. Each person’s cells are just structured and lumped together differently than others, making them more or less noticeable. Weight loss is a great place to start in getting rid of the cellulite since you will be losing that fat. Besides surgery, however, there aren’t any other effective ways of actually GETTING RID of it. But there are ways to disguise it. The best way is by hydrating the skin and plumping it up to fill in the areas that are depressed. Most over-the-counter products do just this, moisturize and disguise the cellulite, but not get rid of it.
  • Skin Discoloration- to help with the discoloration make sure to wear sun screen so as not to allow the normal skin to get too dark and the affected skin doesn’t tan. To aid your blotchiness, concealing make-up does wonders!
  • Stretch Marks- They’re caused by rapid and excessive stretching of the skin that follows weight gain or growth. Unfortunately nothing can completely vanquish them, but the many different creams that are on the market, like Mederma, are very good at reducing the appearances of the marks.
  • Spider Veins- Caused by bade blood flow through the veins most commonly in your legs and ankles. They are most common in people who stand for long periods of time, keeping the blood flow in their legs static from the gravity. Try and take preventative measures by wearing support hose or stockings, keeping your legs elevated when resting, and doing calf muscle exercises to enhance the blood flow. For existing spider veins there are many treatments that can be done in the doctor’s office, such as a laser treatment or sclerotherapy (injection of a solution into the veins that causes them to fade). For a less intense remedy, you can get a fake tan or a spray-on tan to mask the color of the veins.

Hopefully these four remedies work wonders for ya’ll!

Now that the official movie trailers for both adaptations of the story of beloved fairy tale character Snow White have come out, let the battle begin!

Snow White

In the first corner we have Kristen Stewart, starring as Snow White, and the ever so lovely Charlize Theron as the wicked Queen in the movie titled Snow White and the Huntsman. This version of the story has a dark and mysterious overtone to it. The Queen is portrayed as evil and frightening and sends the Huntsman out for Snow White in what seems to unfold in a story of suspense, action and epic battles.

In the other corner we have the sweet Lily Collins cast as Snow White and one of America’s sweethearts, Julia Roberts, as the Queen starring in Mirror, Mirror. Now, this adaptation is much different than the previously mentioned because it has more of a comedic feel. Roberts plays a more sarcastic and humorous Queen as opposed to Theron’s devilish character and the “battles” that take place in effort to capture Snow White are a little less epic and more … whimsical, if you will.

So despite using the same classic story line and both having some much appreciated eye candy -- Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and then Armie Hammer as the Prince -- the movies themselves are as different as black and white. It all depends on your mood as to which one you choose to see. If you’re wanting a happy-go-lucky feel and a good chuckle, then Mirror, Mirror is the one for you. However, if a more serious, dark and suspenseful feel is what you’re after then Snow White and the Huntsman is what you’re looking for — but hey, who says you can’t see them both?!

That’s right, the proud parents of the TLC hit tv show 19 Kids and Counting are now expecting their 20th child!

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announced the coming of their new addition Tuesday on the show as the 45 year old Mom said, “We are so excited … I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now." Her difficulties with her and her baby’s health during her last pregnancy aren’t keeping them from going forward with complete enthusiasm and hopefulness. Michelle has been placed under the care of a high risk pregnancy doctor and is eating very healthy with plenty of protein, vegetables and skipping out on the caffeine. “We are just going to do the best we can," she explained. "I am taking a nap every day, and we are just taking good care." One thing that will be different from Mrs. Duggar’s last pregnancies is her scheduled C- section.

Their new bundle of joy is due to grace the family and thir tv show this coming spring. Congratulations to the happy family and best of wishes!

All the celebrities are using this sweet little secret. From Lala Vasquez’s glowing skin, to Zoe Saldana’s kissably soft lips, to Sara Ramirez’s shimmering complexion and now you too can get in on golden benefits of using honey as a moisturizer!

Honey

“We all strive for moisturized skin, especially during winter months,” says Catherine Barry, Director of Marketing for the National Honey Board. “Honey is your skin’s best friend because it is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture.” Honey’s natural hydrating qualities nourish the skin to reveal a natural glow. By using do-it-yourself recipes made from honey you will have moisturizers you can use anywhere on your body that will work to keep your skin hydrated no matter what the season, and you will also end up spending a fraction of the cost you normally would going out and purchasing a variety of different moisturizing products. Here are two easy, homemade recipes for honey based moisturizers:

After being photographed earlier this week carrying a designer bag made from genuine python skin, Reese Witherspoon and the public have gotten an ear full, to say the least, from PETA. "No matter how much Reese paid for that bag, the animals paid a much higher price," the animal-rights group said in a statement.

Reese Witherspoon

"Every year, millions of snakes are impaled on hooks or nailed to trees by their heads and skinned alive,” the earful continued. “The animals' peeled, writhing bodies are then discarded, and it often takes days for the animals to die from the effects of shock and dehydration.” To spare you of any other gruesome details and sum up PETA’s statement, they go on to say that they can’t imagine that Witherspoon would want to continue to contribute to this inhumane suffering of animals for “something as frivolous as a fashion accessory." Especially when these days it is possible to create a replica with no bloodshed, "These days, it's easy to have a look that kills without killing—with fake snake, mock croc, python pleather, and other designer items that pay tribute to the beauty of these animals without massacring them."

A PETA spokeswoman revealed that they planned to send Reese a video about cruelty within the exotic skin industry narrated by her former Walk the Line costar Joaquin Phoenix.
