As summer quickly approaches, the need to find a great bronzer is definitely on my mind. I've always used Bare Minerals, so I decided to check out one of their all over face colors.

This bronzer is easy to apply, natural, and effective. Swirl the brush in the powder, tap it, and apply to cheekbones and anywhere the face would naturally be touched by the sun for a gorgeous glow! It gives me a perfect sun-kissed look in the summer, and gives me that extra hint of color in the winter. I use it all year long!

Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019), Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77499, CI 77491, CI 77492)

The time period right after winter and right before summer is my favorite, minus the extreme paleness of my skin. This is why a good bronzer is always a key necessity because let’s face it even if it is fake, a girl always wants a tan. When searching for the perfect bronzer it is always a bit of a trial and error process. You want one that is not too dark, not too sparkly, and not too orange-- you want it to look natural.

I have been using Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Custom Glow Bronzer in Sunrise Glow for two weeks now and I am in love! It just might be the perfect bronzer for my skin (that is until the summer officially gets here). The color is light but gives the ideal amount of coverage—no need to cake a lot on your face.

The bronzer its self comes in a rectangular compact complete with a little mirror and application brush (although I appreciate the gesture of the little brush they provide I much prefer to use my own).  For the store price of $12.99 this is not a bad purchase especially when needing to get through the months before summer with a little color!

Don’t you love a makeup product that can be used year round? I know that I do. NARS Bronzing Powder in the shade Irresistiblement is ideal for adding a little color to your face in the winter or for enhancing your sun-kissed glow in the summer.

I am not a big fan of applying tons of goop or powder to my face, which is why I love NARS Bronzing Powder. All of the shades NARS offers in its bronzing powder are fabulous but there is one that remains my go-to shade, Irresistiblement. It is light and gives the perfect amount of coverage that you would want from a bronzing powder. With the iridescent tint of this bronzing powder there is no need to apply blush afterwards! This not only minimizes the clogging of my pores from applying too much makeup; it also saves time when getting ready!

Although NARS Bronzing Powder can be a bit pricey, this product sells for $32. It lasts forever! Now, when I say forever of course I do not mean until the end of time but it took me a good 5 months before I even thought about going to the store to grab a new one.
