I only like the lightest of light things on my face, but I want them to smooth out my skin and make it look even. I now love the Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 (click here for full review) , and the Argan Pressed Powder is perfect on top of the tinted moisturizer to further mattify or alone for slightly less coverage but lots of smoothing and a natural matte look.
An interesting thing about this pressed powder versus others is that there is only one universal shade. It matched my skin tone just fine and brings the even-ness I want to my face, but I'm not sure it'd work for everyone. I love the finish on it--it looks and feels like I'm wearing nothing! If you want a natural but polished look, this powder is perfect.
Plus, check out the pretty bronze compact Josie Maran Argan Pressed Powder comes in ... it's biodegradable! Note: the ingredients say the product MAY contain Titanium Dioxide, which is a serious no-no in toxic chemical land. But for the sake of research and product reviewing, here's hoping it doesn't.
