I love this shampoo! I have tried many different shampoos in hopes of finding one that would work well with my hair but I have not succeeded, until now. My hair is very thin which makes it hard to style, no matter what I seemed to do to it, it would still stay flat and lifeless. When I got the opportunity to try Living Proof’s Full Shampoo I was thrilled. Would this be my answer to achieving full hair with bounce and body?

The answer is—yes! As soon as I opened the shampoo bottle in the shower, the smell overtook my senses (I felt like I was in a fancy salon). The shampoo produced a thick lather and I could literally feel my hair absorbing the shampoo and getting cleaner. After, drying my hair I was amazed—my hair had body! I could not help tossing my hair around and admiring it from every possible angle. The best part is that my hair maintained the body and shine throughout the entire day, and it was raining.

I will defiantly be exchanging my sample bottle of Living Proof’s Full Shampoo for a full size as well as purchasing the rest of the Full line. The price for the shampoo may be a little pricy ($24 for 8 oz.) but in my opinion it is defiantly worth every penny.

Ookisa ™ is an Asian- inspired line of hair products that has received an abundant amount of press in a very short time. Said to provide volume, thickness and luster to any hair, Ookisa’s Fortifying Shampoo and accompanying Replenishing Conditioner, are a hair system created to provide daily maintenance for even the most challenging of hair types.

Ookisa uses botanicals supposedly used in Far East ancient hair treatments such as camellia oil, white peony tea and water lily.  Additionally, this hair system uses a compound called Folliactiv™ that’s created to promote a healthy scalp by reviving hair follicles, which in turn, provide thicker-looking, healthier hair

Recently, I tried the Ookisa Fortifying Shampoo and Replenishing Conditioner. As the owner of notoriously tangled and unruly hair (my hairdresser cringes when I walk into the salon!), I tend to get anxiety when after shampooing my hair feels ultra-dry and brittle. The Ookisa Fortifying Shampoo, because of its ability to rid the hair of impurities and provide a deep clean, feels like it strips the hair of all moisture. But have no fear, it’s all part of the Ookisa process, because once you apply the incredibly rich Replenishing Conditioner, you understand the power of this hair system. My hair was uber clean, but rich with fullness and shine. And the products have a delicate but clean smell which I’m always a fan of.

However, at a price point of $79.95 for the full hair system (shampoo and conditioner) or $39.95 for each product, you’d need a celebrity’s pay check to afford it!

MiN Detox Clarifying Shampoo
5

I have a slightly embarassing confession: since going chemical-free, my hair sometimes gets really, really greasy. But weird greasy, like only in the back, and it's very stringy and just looks still wet. Sort of like the coconut oil debacle, if you'll recall my adventures in natural haircare. I blamed it on one particular brand of shampoo that shall remain nameless, but I'm starting to think it's a larger issue.

Naturally, when I came across MiN New York Detox shampoo, I had to try it. Fortunately, it was the cure to my greasy hair woes! One deep-cleansing wash eliminated all the greasiness while leaving my hair fresh and clean. It lathers nicely but not too much and rinses out super clean. Hair feels squeaky clean!

MiN New York Detox also happens to inhibit DHT, which contributes to hair thinning and loss, which isn't an issue I have but I don't mind the extra prevention. Their entire line is targeted toward preventing hair loss.

You can use MiN New York Detox two to three times a week, or as needed. I'm so happy to have a clarifying shampoo that works!
