When looking for a razor, it is important to find one that will glide easily and prevent razor burn/cuts. I was excited to use Schick Quattro for Women not only because it had four blades, but a bikini trimmer as well! When I opened up the package, the razor came with a battery for the trimmer, so it could be used immediately. I assembled my razor and began to read the instructions for the trimmer.

The directions were simple; press the button on the razor and use! The razor blade is on one end and the trimmer on the other which makes it easy and quick to use. The four-blade razor is great and left my legs and underarms feeling smooth. When using the trimmer you can either leave the comb on or take it off for a closer trim. I really like the trimmer because it did not irritate the delicate skin of the bikini area and it gave me a perfect trim for the summer without any razor burn!

I recommend this razor because it left my skin feeling smooth and soft without any razor burn or cuts. I love the trimmer for the easy and quick use too! This 2- in-1 deal is a great idea for those who are tired of their skin being irritated by other razors and want one that will leave them feeling clean and neat.

I've never jumped on the Schick Intuition bandwagon. I remember trying it out a couple of years ago, but wasn't happy with the level of smoothness I got after shaving my legs. But when I had the opportunity to try the Schick Intution Plus, I figured I'd give it a try. Plus, the razor handle was really pretty. And it sounded like the razor had lots of improvements -- especially since this one included pomengrate. According to the website:

For centuries, the pomegranate fruit, loaded with antioxidants, has been used in skin care treatments for its natural toning and anti-aging properties. Now Schick® Intuition Plus® brings you the indulgent powers of this super fruit. The moisturizing solid is infused with pomegranate extract, so you can lather, shave and moisturize in one easy step – now with the power of pomegranate!

However, I immediately wasn't impressed. Even with all the new bells and whistles, it simply does not give a close shave. A couple of years ago, I switched to Gillette for men, and this experience did not sway me to change back to a woman's razor. Don't even get me started about shaving my armpits with the Schick Intuition Plus -- way too painful. 

So even though it's beautiful, girly, and a neat concept (with the soap built right into the razor), if you are looking for a close shave, I would not recommend this razor.

I have been in need of a new razor for a while now and was happy to get the opportunity to try out a brand that I have not used before, Schick® Quattro for Women®. The razor comes complete with four blades and two aloe conditioning strips boasting “an exceptional shaving experience so you can skip a day or two”.

I decided to put the Schick® Quattro for Women® razor to the test. As I unwrapped the razor from its packaging I was pleased to discover that the razor came with a convenient shower holder and an extra replacement razor blade. I love a product that comes with little helpful accessories! After I lathered my legs with my favorite shave gel I was ready to test out my new razor. What I noticed immediately was that the razor was a nice weight (a little heavy which made it easy to control). I personally like to shave against the hair growth and the Schick® Quattro for Women® made it easy to do so, there was no pulling of the hair. My entire shaving experience with the Schick® Quattro for Women® was very pleasant; it was one of the first times where I did not feel like I had to repeatedly shave the same area. I knew that the razor was removing the hair I was directing it to.

After getting out of the shower I applied my favorite body lotion to my freshly shaved legs. Perfecto! My legs felt amazingly smooth and looked fabulous (I could not stop rubbing them against each other). Would the smoothness last like the box said? I wanted to know. I did not shave again for two days and could you believe that they actually remained smooth! Of course there was a little hair growth but nothing noticeable. I think that I just may have found my new favorite razor; if you are in the market for a new razor as well I would consider giving Schick® Quattro for Women® a try. You can find it at your local drugstore priced at about $10, not a bad price for a razor that actually works.
