China Glaze Concrete Catwalk
0

If you are a little too obsessed with nail polish like I am, you know that China Glaze has been coming out with the coolest new colors. When I was looking through the new nail polish collection, I immediately was drawn to a dark grey color called Concrete Catwalk. I love dark colors, and usually opt for them. Grey may sound boring, but this one had a bluish tint to it and was the one I simply had to have!

The first coat I applied came on nicely and evenly. The color came on so well, that I did not need to put a second coat. I waited for my nails to dry and decided to apply a second coat just to make my nails darker and more dramatic. I love that you can choose if you would like darker or lighter nails just from one color!

I applied my topcoat, and when my nails dried they looked great! Not only did they look cool, the color stayed on the entire weekend, yet it was easy to remove. I highly recommend this polish because of the unique color and the quality of the product.

*The color is so new that we had to take a picture of the polish with our own camera!

White Shatter

By now, you've probably heard of the new "Shatter" colors from OPI. Shatter came out first in black and was endorsed by Katy Perry. It was such a huge hit, that they now have an entire new Shatter line. I recently got the chance to try the White Shatter over a pink nail polish from China Glaze and this was the result:

It kind of reminded me of a pink cheetah, but I really liked it! The best part about Shatter? If your nails get chipped, you can't tell because of how the Shatter looks on your nails in the first place.

If you still aren't sure how Shatter works, OPI's website has a quick and easy how-to:

Apply one coat of Shatter over two coats of completely dry nail lacquer for a stylish two-texture effect. Add Top Coat for a gorgeous, high-gloss finish.

I think you should defintely give the Shatter polishes a try -- especially if you're looking for a different, yet cool look!

$8.50 per bottle

China Glaze in Brownstone
4

China Glaze’s nail polish in Brownstone is a must have for fall nail color. Brownstone is a great polish to mix and design with. I recommend experimenting with a tribal design on your nails with this polish.

Like the standard China Glaze polish, the application process is very simple! Just apply two coats per nail, it's more than enough to cover the nail surface. I am in love with the deep burnt brown color. The only thing that I would consider to be negative is the drying process. You need to give it at least 15 minutes to dry completely – if not it will smudge or peel off.

Pick this up for the fall -- it’s a gorgeous color!
